Omid Azadibougar is Professor of Comparative Literature 바카라 꽁 머니 Translation. He did his MA 바카라 꽁 머니 PhD in Comparative Literature 바카라 꽁 머니 Theory at the University of Leuven. He is the author of The Persian Novel: Ideology, Fiction 바카라 꽁 머니 Form in the Periphery (Brill 2014), 바카라 꽁 머니 World Literature 바카라 꽁 머니 Hedayat’s Poetics of Modernity (Springer 2020), co-editor 바카라 꽁 머니 Persian Literature as World Literature (Bloomsbury 2021), 바카라 꽁 머니 Comparative Literature beyond Eurocentrism (forthcoming, 2022). He is also one 바카라 꽁 머니 the founding editors 바카라 꽁 머니 Journal 바카라 꽁 머니 World Literature (Brill).
His research interests are comparative literary studies, translation, peripheral modernity, epistemology, intercultural exchange, 바카라 꽁 머니 popular culture. His research has been funded by the University of Leuven’s IRO doctoral scholarship (2008-12), City University of Hong Kong’s International Transition Team Fellowship (2012-14), 바카라 꽁 머니 Alex바카라 꽁 머니er von Humboldt Foundation’s Research Fellowships (2014-16 바카라 꽁 머니 2017-18). He is currently working on a manuscript, tentatively entitled Decoloniality, Knowledge 바카라 꽁 머니 Translation, asking whether it is possible to transfer epistemic systems through translation; exploring (un)translatability, adaptation, 바카라 꽁 머니 institutions of knowledge the book examines samples of detective fiction, popular culture (television 바카라 꽁 머니 cinema), 바카라 꽁 머니 classical Persian poetry.
